Wooden Kisses...

     The idea for the Wooden Kisses came up one day, walking through the Philadelphia Flower Show, when I stumbled upon a famous furniture maker who was selling beautiful wooden pieces (walnut, maple, and cherry hardwood), I grabbed them without blinking!

     Back at my studio, I let my heart guide me and the idea of a message inspiring your thoughts every morning came to mind! With the small blocks of wood as a base, I started creating tiny wire sculptures that were fixed into the wood.

     Then my old typewriter came up, and inspired by life, I wrote positive messages on a piece of copper tape adhered to the block and so a Wooden Kiss was born! They come in different sizes (about 3" by 3" variable) and a characteristic red heart made with ceramic paste in each of the sculptures.

     In time, many customers shared stories with me about the person that they give theirs to... a child in a hospital, grandma working in her rehabilitation, a wife-to-be, a customized tiny bottle containing the big question! Some are meant to say good morning, some to keep you moving!
